Preston’s coaching philosophy has been transformed through his integration of cut- ting-edge technology, particularly his work with Zen Golf. Operating from a two-car garage in Orlando, Preston has redefined indoor coaching, using Zen’s innovative technology to replicate real-world putting conditions with unparalleled accuracy.

Since earning his Class A PGA Professional status in 2011, Preston has studied un- der some of the game’s top instructors and established himself as a leading putting coach. His expertise lies in blending data-driven coaching with cutting-edge tools like Zen’s Green Stage, allowing players to create, develop, and own their putting through realistic and adaptive training environments.

His reputation as a top-tier instructor has earned him recognition on the Golf Digest Best Young Teachers list (2025)—an honor he has received since 2019—as well as a consistent place on the Golf Digest Best in State list for Florida (since 2018). He has also been nominated for the prestigious Golf Digest Top 50 Teachers award.

Preston has worked with winners across the PGA Tour, LIV Tour, LPGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, and elite collegiate programs. Through his collaboration with Zen Golf, he continues to push the boundaries of coaching:
